As a social movement, we are working towards a day where no young person’s background determines their future. Still now in 2019 there is a postcode lottery and we are at a crisis point that needs drastic change.
To play our part, we have a national strategy to reach areas of deprivation not currently served (social mobility cold spots). By 2021 we want to support over 10,000 young people in the most deprived parts of the UK to reach their potential.
As a result, we are after self starters, community champions, facilitators to be our Social Mobility Associates to launch and lead CoachBright hubs in their local communities. Is this you? Are you as passionate and driven by tackling inequality as we are?

How to do it?
If you’ve got the drive and share our passion, you can lead a programme on every stage from start (securing the school), middle (delivery), to finish (monitoring and evaluating the impact). We’ve got the resources, guidance and support to get you prepared and feeling confident. See the full steps below:

Application + Selection: fill in form below followed by remote interview with a team member
Attend 1 day training: on relationship building and our ethos towards making education fairer
Secure school/s: contact, visit and partner with local schools to secure agreements in your area.
Bootcamp time! Meet the full team over 2 days and receive training on facilitation, programme coordination and pupil engagement.
Recruit + Train: find your coaches (university students or senior school pupils) to be coaches and run training with a CoachBright staff member.
Launch, Coordinate and Graduate: manage your coaching programmes meeting weekly targets with your coaches, pupils and lead teachers.
Monitor and Evaluate: measure how well your programme has delivered to our social mobility outcomes.
Who We are After
We believe this is a real leadership and entrepreneurial opportunity for the right person and we are after someone who has:
Mission Alignment: Clear drive and passion for what we do around social mobility.
Practical commitment: to running programmes you secure and willing to invest initial time and energy to get the hub off the ground independently.
Resourcefulness: real self starter attitude coupled with experience of relationship building, facilitation and young person experience.
To support your learning and building your community you will have:
Financial support: each programme you sell 75% will be decided by you on how to spend. We recommend 60-65% goes on your own pay. A typical core programme costs £4000-4500. More details set out in associate pack.
Training: 1 Day initial workshop on relationship building followed by a 2 day bootcamp (if you secure schools) free of charge.
Guidance: Regular check-ins with CoachBright staff and associates to share best practise.
Access: to CoachBright curriculum, learning resources, budgeting frameworks and facilitator support as and when needed.
Coaching: Professional level accredited executive coaching for your career development and wellbeing.
