Reflection. Resilience. Results.

Our aim is for all our pupils to become independent and resilient learners so they can lead the lives they want.

We widen university access for pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds by pairing them up with the best coaches. Through 1-1 coaching, our pupils improve their prospects of entering top universities in 3 ways: grades, confidence and expectations.

"CoachBright is a comfortable environment to be yourself and think about your future self.

My coach Luke has helped put meaning into what I do on a regular basis. With him, I know how hard to work, what I need to work on and why it is important for me."

Making Education Fairer

CoachBright, founded by an Exeter alumni, enables school pupils from low-income backgrounds to achieve the grades and confidence they need to progress to, and succeed at, the university of their choice.

Tackling one of society's biggest social problems, their coaching helps pupils improve their attitude, work ethic and academic performance which ultimately transforms their life chances.

They are doing this using the power of university student volunteers, including students from Exeter University, which provides a fantastic opportunity to our students to boost their own employability skills while doing social good.

At the University of Exeter, we are delighted to support their important work and look forward to seeing this expand further in the coming years.”
