Run the London Marathon 2027 for CoachBright!

53,000 runners. 26.2 miles. 4 legendary CoachBright places.

Imagine powering down The Mall to that iconic finish line in London, surrounded by thousands of cheering voices. Then, imagine knowing that you didn't just conquer 26.2 miles, but you also helped a young person unlock their potential too.

Last year, our London Marathon runners raised a phenomenal £10,000, allowing us to support 60 young people who were struggling to thrive at school. A massive thank you to Jessica Chermak, Bita Sistani, Jonny Boddington, and Kieron Boyd for their incredible effort.

Four places for the TCS London Marathon 2027!

We are thrilled to announce that we have four more places for the TCS London Marathon 2027, and we are looking for four incredible human beings to join #TeamCoachBright!

Why Run for CoachBright?

Running a marathon is one of the most transformative things you will ever do. But running it for impact? That turns every gruelling training run, every early alarm, and every mile into momentum for social change.

In the UK today, a young person’s background still heavily dictates their future. At CoachBright, we believe that’s wrong. So we work with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to build the confidence, self-efficacy and independence they need to thrive at school and beyond.

When you lace up your trainers for #TeamCoachBright, you aren't just raising funds, you are directly powering peer coaching that shifts mindsets, opens further education, university and career pathways, and proves to a young person that their starting line doesn't define their finish line.

“Having coaching gave me the realisation that I could shape my own future." — CoachBright Alumni

“My coach’s belief in me was amazing and then I started to get better at maths.” —  CoachBright Alumni

“Doing the coach training was the first time I experienced what excellent leadership looks like and you set the bar high.” — CoachBright Alumni

What You’ll Get on #TeamCoachBright

We might be a tight-knit team of just four runners, but you’ll have a whole movement running alongside you! We provide you with:

  • Your Custom CoachBright Running Vest: A high-performance kit so you look and feel the part on race day.

  • The Ultimate Race-Day Cheer Squad: We’ll be on the course making maximum noise to carry you through those final miles.

  • Dedicated Fundraising Support: From template letters to creative event ideas, we’ll help you crush your target without the stress.

  • Mindset Coaching Principles: We know a thing or two about coaching! We’ll share goal-setting and resilience strategies to keep your head in the game during training.

  • Direct Impact: You’ll get to see exactly how the money you raise transforms real young lives across our programmes.

Is This Your Moment?

You don't need to be a seasoned marathoner or a club athlete. Whether you’re a long-time runner itching for a bucket-list major, or a complete beginner ready to take on the challenge of a lifetime, we want to hear from you!

All we ask from our four champions is:

  1. A commitment to training and bringing your authentic passion to the challenge.

  2. A pledge to hit your minimum fundraising target (which goes directly to supporting young people) of £2,500.

  3. A desire to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people.

How to Claim Your Spot

With only four places available for 2027, these spots will fill up fast!
