Jade Anderson
Jade Anderson
Jade is a programme manager working in Cornwall and across the South West. She holds a BA (hons) in Textiles and worked in the textile industry before completing her teacher training at Bath Spa University. She is motivated to reduce barriers to attainment for young people, and her experience working in schools across the South West gives her a strong awareness of the issues faced by young people today.
Jade and her partner also run a small educational centre on their farm, helping pupils with SEN, hosting primary residentials and ASDAN courses on horticulture. They are trying to increase exposure and access to nature for young people and help them to see the importance of these connections in our modern world.
Outside of work, you'll find Jade bouldering at her local climbing wall, trying to sew her own clothes, or (most likely) with her head in a book.
