Whether you are a fully-fledged professional or are fundraising for the very first time, our fundraising ideas and the support of our fundraising team should give you everything you need to get going.

Out of the hundreds of ways to raise money, these are our top 10 (and most popular) activities.

1. Walk, trek or hike

Take a walk, trek or hike to help disadvantaged young people. You can enjoy the great outdoors with a local dog walking challenge, or tailor your walk to one of the UK’s stunning National Trails.

Perhaps you’d like to venture further afield with a trek to Machu Picchu, surrounded by the spectacular Andes mountains, or hike up Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa!

2. Bike ride

You could cycle around your local area and measure the distance, or challenge yourself to take part in the iconic London to Brighton bike ride - a 54-mile journey with plenty of water stops, mechanical support throughout, and a free buffet lunch!

3. Sponsored silence

Is it difficult for you or your friends or colleagues to keep quiet? Then how about taking part in a sponsored silence?!

4. Run

As much of our work takes place in the South West of England it might be that you’ve heard of CoachBright locally and would like to support us. You could take part in Exeter’s 10k Great West Run, or the Bristol 5k Winter Warmer Run!

5. Skydiving

We are dedicated to working with the best professionals to bring you the most adrenaline-fuelled experiences! The tandem skydive is the most popular of jumps – you get to fly through the sky from over 10,000 feet for a truly unforgettable experience.

6. Bake sale

You could run this event from school, work, university or home. Cupcakes, brownies or cookies, the sky's the limit!

7. Raffle

A raffle is a great way to support CoachBright, be it at school, college, university, the workplace or your local pub!

8. Uniform-free day

A school is often the best place to raise essential funds by holding a uniform-free day. If you are at work you could hold a dress-down day, or raise even more funds by going to work in fancy dress!

9. Gaming for Good

For those who enjoy online gaming, what a great way to challenge yourself whilst raising funds for CoachBright! You get to pick whichever game you’d most like to play, and ask your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you as you game for a good cause! You can even game via Twitch and gain supporters around the world - all whilst raising awareness of our work.

Note: if you are under the age of 18 make sure you get permission from a parent or guardian and take regular breaks!

10. Duvet day

Last but by no means least is a very special office event that is bound to prove irresistible to most. Host a raffle, selling as many tickets as you can. The lucky winner gets to have the day off work, without any negative repercussions! The aim is to stay under the duvet all day, watching your favourite movies or TV programmes, eating your favourite foods and generally pampering yourself.

Note: make sure managers and HR are all in the know and approve of this one!
